On the week starting Monday 18th November the whole school will be taking part in a Modern Foreign Languages themed week, and we in year 5 will be lucky enough to learn some German! Ja, Deutsch! There will be a number of FREE workshops taking place in school during this week, including the chance to learn Mandarin Chinese and some Capoeira dancing from South America!
We will be teaching a lot of lessons in class based around the country of Germany, and Miss Cooke will be taking off her Spanish sunglasses and putting on a German hat for that week's languages lesson! We're really looking forward to this, as the previous Science themed week last half term was a huge success.
